44 yrs in 8000 Characters! I married Gordon Graves in Oct. '65 and we moved to NJ in '66. I hated NJ and wanted to go back to Ohio. Little did I know that I'd be there 34 yrs. I had two daughters with Gordon. We divorced but are still friends. I later married Steve and we just celebrated our 30th anniversary.

I was a continuing ed student at Rider University taking a course or two a semester while I took care of the kids and worked. I got my AA in law enforcement in 1984 and my BS in Personnel/labor relations in 1987.

Jobs over the years have included Dunkin Donuts, personnel at Macy's, real estate broker/associate, bank teller, technical writer for the Navy, training and development for Prudential Mutual Funds & Prudential Property and Casualty, and even had my own Management Consulting Co. for a few years.

We retired to NC in 2000. Sean was born in 2000 which is why we now also have a 1 br condo in NJ where I spend 6 mos out of the year. We were avid sailors but sold the boat a couple of years ago. I spent 4 years on our HO assoc. board as VP. and Steve spent the next 3 yrs on the board as Pres. Since our lives no longer revolved around the 3rd Wed. of the month we're looking for something new to do in our "retirement".

Rereading this it sounds kind of dull but it sure never seemed like it as were living it. I've been luckier then I've probably deserved and say thank-you every day to my angels and the universe for my life and my family.

We sold our house in NC and have moved back to NJ to be near family.

Hard to believe but we've been in our new house for a little over a year and have been back in NJ or almost two years. Happy to say that we have never regretted moving back. Oldest grandson Jon (25) is still in the Air Force and now stationed in Okinawa. Kathy and Ryan have both graduated from Rowan U and starting their careers. Sean is now 12! and the twins are 8! Time marches on
